「Perfect night for a quick in and out of town stay. There is a little bar within walking distance that my husband and son went to for a quick beer before bed. Hotels can be hard for a dog so this was exactly what we needed to keep our girl happy. 」

The biggest negative was not having control of the AC/heater. The instructions said to keep the thermostat at certain temperatures. There was no thermostat. 「I booked this place as a home base for chasing the eclipse back in April. As far as "small" places go, I loved this one. A nice open layout makes it easy for you to unpack and maneuver around. I was traveling between St. Louis and Carbondale during my stay and I liked the small, quaint area the home is located. 「My family had a weekend trip to the area for a wedding. This was our second time staying. We enjoy the little pond and porch swing. Having easy access to kitchen and open concept living room is great for kids.」

Riley was great to accommodate until power was restored and stay in constant communication throughout the entire ordeal. Would definitely stay again.」

「This was by far the worst rental I’ve ever stayed in. There were cameras in every virtually every window several of which were pointed toward the interior making us feel very uncomfortable. There were no linens on any of the beds. When we finally found them, they didn’t smell or appear to be clean. The house had no wifi and no dining table. The only dishes we could find were two small cups. Overall an absolutely horrible place to stay. 」
