「Perfect stay at the Daintree Eco Lodge. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Really liked the ‘outside’ enclosed sala. All the villas are private and all you can hear are the sounds of birds and frogs. The staff are amazing. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and the service is impeccable. Food is delicious and they do great cocktails! We stayed for three nights and ate at the restaurant every evening. An absolute must is the ATV tour to the waterfall. You’ll get very wet so go in...

「Staying in a cabin in a rainforest is always going to be unique. The cabin was well equipped and spacious. The dining system worked well and our hostess was knowledgeable and helpful. We particularly liked the walk available around the property which was marked out by pink ribbons. 」

「Loved our stay in the jungle! Great food at the cafe. Snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef was amazing—make sure you rent a wetsuit to avoid a bad burn! Room was clean & ensuite bathroom was great. Loved sitting out on the little porch in the evenings.」

「Very nice location to experience Daintree rainforest and Thornton Beach. Wonderful and friendly hosts. The lodge was excellent for larger mixed group. Cool place overall. Should have booked a few more days!」

「We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

「Our stay at CapeTrib Farmstay was a trip back to nature. It gave us peace, relaxation and home comforts and all secluded within the farms ripening fruit trees. The cabin had an air conditioned bedroom a funtional bathroom and the extended canopy provided cover for comfy seating and a kitchen with gas burners and fridge freezer in an open air environment. Our Host Sam provided us with a fresh picked fruit platter which was a delight and he was very helpful with local knowledge and his kindness...

「Amazing place! Has everything you need except cellular service - but let’s be honest you don’t need that either. Host was great and had suggestions on things to see nearby. The on property swimming hole was so nice for a hot summer day. Visit the insect museum nearby if it is open. 」

「Ferntree was basic accommodation. Towels were shabby, lighting around the place was not sufficient at night, restaurant food was below par, the beds were uncomfortable and the noise between rooms was far too evident」
