Chose it because it had a room that would accommodate three ladies on our little tour of the Cotswolds. Our room had two separate bedrooms, one with a large bed and then another with two twin beds. Bathroom was updated and roomy with a full tub and shower. Would be perfect for a family also. The inn was built in 1698 and has historical charm, but was nicely renovated....

"This was literally the prettiest place in Burton-on-the-water! This house was perfect for the five of my family members. Right on the water and very close to all of the shops. Front and back yard gardens were gorgeous. The pictures dont do it justice!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Meadow Rise. Our room was clean and had a good view. Our hosts Wendy and Clive were helpful, kind and friendly. We got lots of tips and information on restaurants, places to visit and bus routes. The self service and the cooked English breakfast were excellent. We could leave our car at the property and the walking distance to the Bourton-on-the-Water only took us not more than 5 mins. Very convenient. We really appreciate the warm hospitality during our stay at Meadow Rise. Thank you very much."

"My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at The Dial House in Bourton-on-the-Water, and we honestly couldn't have asked for more. We happened to visit during an exceptionally hot spell, with temperatures reaching 36°C, but the staff were absolutely outstanding throughout our stay, doing everything possible to ensure all guests remained comfortable and well looked after. Their professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail really stood out. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, the dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and enjoying cocktails in the stunning garden on a warm summer evening was simply perfect. The location is unbeatable too – right in the heart of the gorgeous Bourton-on-the-Water, making it easy to enjoy everything this beautiful village has to offer. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!"

The amenities were outstanding - everything seemed brand new and spotlessly clean . We enjoyed the Cotswold walking books left for guests as well as the stock of DVDs. Highly recommend !"
