“Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. ”

“We were in the king room way upstairs tiny stairs that a person my age should not be climbing. The bed was uncomfortable. We were there during the heat wave and had to depart a day early due to lack of AC and ventilation. Location was good and staff was friendly. Front desk not manned at all times. Hard to get service. Still have not received email with receipt from property. Not much choice in this area of hotels, just don’t book upstairs rooms!”

“We loved staying here between our visit to Oxford and Bath. The house was very comfortable and gave us the feel for the Cotswolds even though we only stayed one night. The breakfast was delicious and the hostess was hospitable. The price of our May stay was extremely affordable and we feel we got our money’s worth by far. We just loved this place!!”

“Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!”
