「Returned to this property a second time for a large family gathering and once again it didn't disappoint. The house and grounds are so well kept. Both adults and kids can be entertained as well as feeling relaxed. The memories that have been made from our visits often come up in conversation and now we've more to reminisce. 「Had an enjoyable short break at the Maple Lodge. Hosts were very friendly including the cats and dogs. Lodge was cozy, clean and had all the amenities you need. Bed was comfortable and slept well after all the walking and trekking. WiFi was intermittent and could probably do with a boost but it did not ruin our stay as we were out exploring the surrounding area most of the day. However the house although wasn't filthy it wasn't clean. The whole place looked like a family had just "popped out". 「Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.」

「Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio.
