A small terrace outside was where our breakfast was served, and this was superb. The secluded location served to teem with songbirds, I've rarely heard so many welcome the start of the day. "I’d like to write about this apartment, but can’t because, despite booking and paying for it 5 weeks in advance, the apartment was given to someone else. We didn’t meet the owner either who, when we phoned him, we were told he’d made an ‘error’, and that was the end of the conversation. Perhaps a mistake, but probably not, and the inconvenience of having to find other accommodation at 8.00 in the evening was unbelievable (Corte has real accommodation shortages). I don’t recommend anyone...

"This is a little jewel of a hotel hidden in the hills of Corsica. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and the sense of peace is heavenly. The rooms are beautifully decorated, bathrooms well equipped and there are lots of seating areas around the property as well as the pool where you can relax. It is remote for sure but it’s worth the journey."
