「Woodlands Gardens is located near Magaliesberg. The accomodation was clean and well looked after. The common areas i.e. the pool was very nice. The owners have very friendly dogs and our dogs were welcomed and enjoyed it very much. Locates close to many hiking areas and restaurants. The owners are friendly and have good communication with guests. A little on the priciers side for what you are getting but still a great weekend away.」

「What a gem. We had a quiet mid-week stay. But it’s a small space so I would think even weekends shouldn’t feel too busy. Food and service were outstanding. Some short hikes available on the property as well. 」

「The lodge was very clean and tidy. The owner and security made me feel very welcome and safe and nothing was to much to ask. The property has a hike up the ridge behind for great views. You could if you wanted to hike to mountain sanctuary its about 2 hours there and another 2 hours back. It was well located just off a main road. Giraffe, Zebra all came onto property to feed on the land which was quite exciting.」

「Cabbage tree cottage at stone hill was clean and comfortable, king size bed and the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances. Thoughtful touches for the pets with a secure garden for them. A lovely quiet and peaceful place for a relaxing weekend away.」

「It was our family's second time at ANEW RESORT Hunters Rest, and it outdid the first time which was great! Again, we had a family birthday being celebrated, and we were greeted by Thabang at reception with a message from the staff. That was followed by a cake and a written greeting card upon arrival at our accommodation, which had been generously upgraded much to our great pleasure and comfort. 「This is a one of a kind hotel. I mean, who can say they have stayed in a castle. The rooms are really well done and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The food at the onsite restaurant was really good. Only negative of this hotel is that they don't have either a pool or a gym. Not much to do if you want to spend some time lazing around.」
