VIOLET'S MAISON

Experience authentic historical central Katoomba, while dreaming of a Parisian getaway. Violet's Maison is just the right combination of whimsical and comfortable, with streaming morning sunlight, tasteful decor, high ceilings, park views and a two minute walk from the train station and to the art deco heart of the Blue Mountains' most glorious town. The apartment sleeps four in two bedrooms, with vintage furntiture and modern comforts, in the prestigious Wadi Shaifa building.

9PM OUTDOOR NOISE RESTRICTION CURFEW
Due to the close proximity of neighbours near to the property, there is a strict noise restriction curfew from 9pm - 8am in all outside areas.
Please ensure you are super quiet when outside during this time.

IN-HOUSE GUESTS ONLY
Please note that this property is not available to hold lunches and dinners, or any other gatherings for people who are not booked to stay at the property.
The property is only for use by paid in-house guests that match the number of guests that are on the reservation.

NO PARTY OR NOISE DISRUPTION POLICY
Please note that this property has a very strict no-party and no-noise disruption policy. Under no circumstances is this a party house or venue.
The neighbours are in very close proximity as it is a very quiet and peaceful residential area.
Please note there will be an immediate eviction without a refund if there is a breach of our terms and conditions.

PAYMENT POLICY
Bookings are only confirmed once a minimum deposit of 50% is paid 30 days or greater to the arrival booking date.
The balance payment plus the refundable security bond are due 30 days to the arrival booking date.
Full payment plus the refundable security bond are required when booked less than 30 days to the arrival booking date.
Please note that all payments processed by Accommodated are subject to a 2.9% payment gateway transaction fee.
Payments will appear as *SEC ACCOMMODATED BYRON BAY/LENNOX HEAD NSW* on your bank statement.
By making payment/s for your booking it is deemed you have read and agree to our terms and conditions.
Bond refunds are processed 7 days after check-out and may take 5-10 days to appear in your bank account.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations 60 days or greater to the arrival date, incur a $5.00 non-refundable channel manager fee.
Cancellations 30 - 59 days to the arrival date will forfeit 50% of the full tariff.
Cancellations within 30 days to the arrival date will forfeit 100% of the full tariff.
If the person who booked is prohibited by law to travel due to a COVID-19 lockdown, bookings can be transferred up to a year in advance, with one free date change.
Accommodated is not responsible for cancellations of any events, functions, booked activities, or any other changed circumstances guests may experience and as such any cancellations due to the above mentioned issues, will be governed by our cancellation policy.

Cozy, Vintage, Convenient Apartment
We stayed at the coldest time of year and the fireplace kept the whole place warm all night. The beds were very comfortable and the relaxed decor vintage inspired. Enough space for a couple or small family. Main Katoomba shops a 7 min walk away. Approx 12 internal stairs up to apartment with good handrails. We will stay again.

The apartment is clean and cosy and in great location near Katoomba and we enjoyed our three night stay. However a few things to keep in mind. Kitchen and bathroom are dated yet functional. There was no wardrobe to hang clothes, no dressing table or writing desk to get ready or work from, bedrooms don’t have lock out blinds. Also, whilst the apartment suited us as a couple, if more guests the second bedroom is not very private.

Highly recommend
A friend and I stayed for 4 nights and were very happy with the accommodation. We found the apartment clean, very comfortable and exactly as depicted in the photos. Loved the art deco character of this period home. Location to the train station made it so easy to reach and the outlook was lovely. Plenty of tea/coffee. Good hot water. Great stay.
