"For the price €103, it absolutely wasn't worth it. It is situated in the middle of nowhere. You have to arrange your breakfast yourself for the next morning. The only thing you get in the evening before, is a bag with bread and some marmelade. The fridge is hardly filled and you have to make your thea or coffee yourself. Besides the awfull smell in the sleepingroom it is an accomodation far beyond nowadays standards. We thought we had become in a horror movie of the worst kind."

This is a pure haven for anyone just wanting to relax, calm their nerves and take in the beautiful evening sky whilst hanging in a pool. "A great property with plenty of space for families staying together. The swimming pool was excellent and the children loved it. A very quiet location, no noise from cars or roads but plenty of places to visit if you take the car!"

"Martine was there to meet us when we arrived, very friendly and helpful. Her English was better than our French. The property was as advertised - a well-stocked kitchen with induction hob (and all the right pots and pans for this), a clean oven, and all the cutlery and utensils we'd be likely to need. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and even the cockerel had the manners not to start crowing (is that the right word?) until around 10am, so sleep wasn't interrupted. It's a really quiet village but within very easy reach of a good supermarket with lots of fresh food and vegetables. It was a really, really hot week when we went and the prolonged drought meant that the grounds were totally parched, but there's plenty of space and after a little rain it will all be green again. During the week, we travelled as far south as Le Mans and Mont Saint-Michel, and up to the Normandy beaches in the north, and still had places we wanted to see and didn't have time. So, recommended for a week or longer, although I think shorter lets are available. We travelled from Portsmouth in the UK to Caen by ferry, which was really convenient and the drive to the house took less than an hour - once we'd got through customs."

"We've just returned today - none of us wanting to leave , so that says it all really? The house is much bigger than we expected. The bedrooms having en-suites was a bonus with 10 of us staying. The beds were comfortable, clean, bathrooms equipped and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer - and a spare if wanted! Huge dining table! Living room was comfy, accommodated us all. There are also 2 bedrooms downstairs and another bathroom. Lots of seating outside and a BBQ set up and ready to go. The pool is big, the kids (4 of them) loved it, mind you us adults did too...plenty of seating around it. It is shared however if there is anyone else staying.The owners in my opinion, have thought of everything, couldn't ask for more. Jimmy was really helpful when we had a car issue, sense and kindness itself! Only downside? The stairs are steep..We've stayed in quite a few places in France now- this was up with the best."
