Fern Spring Cabin

Welcome to our cabin. As you move down the driveway, you will see stone walls, and rock landscaping. The cabin is nestled among the trees. The atmosphere we have attempted to create is one of peace and solitude. Solitude is refreshing; an opportunity to renew ourselves. Solitude helps us to appreciate things in life that we may have taken for granted; the friends, the past, memories.

We invite you to enjoy our wrap around porch, view nature at its best. Sit around the fire ring and relax. Indoor furnishings include furniture and kitchen cabinets made from Grandpa's barn. Feel free to take a walk on our cow-path road, and see our truly Amish country setting.

If eating out and shopping are on your list, East Main Kitchen in Baltic (10 minutes away) will satisfy your appetite. Sugarcreek, home of the world's largest cuckoo clock is fifteen minutes away. Berlin (30 minutes ) will allow you to shop till you drop.

"Quiet" Retreat
If you're looking for a "quiet" retreat...this is the place to be! It was conveniently located to Baltic, Sugarcreek, and other nearby towns, but far enough away to hear the birds chirping on the gorgeous extended deck. We had a wonderful stay! :-)

October getaway
Had a WONDERFUL time! What a beautiful / spotlessly clean cabin and everything you need was there to get you started, even coffee for the AM ;) My husband and I visited in October the cabin had been decorated inside and out for fall, what a cute touch. I knew as we pulled up to the cabin this was going to be a perfect 2-week getaway!! We both were pleasantly surprised as deer visited morning and night, I love nature so that was a definite plus! Our Hosts have gone above and beyond to make this cabin a perfect getaway/ retreat. Our Host were very gracious and accommodating, we will be returning next year!!

Love!!! This was our 3rd time staying and we just love getting away to spend time together at this cabin. We read, painted on the porch, played games, talked, laughed, and RELAXED. It was so peaceful! So clean and decorated so beautifully!

Everything about this property was exactly what we’d hoped for! The cabin itself was immaculate & beautifully decorated. No detail was overlooked & had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway. The landscaping was amazing! We couldn’t get over how it all looked upon first arriving and add to that all of the fall touches- it was lovely. This getaway was the 1st for our group to have a mom’s weekend away & we picked the perfect place. Quietly tucked away down in the trees on a quiet country road. We enjoyed all of the sounds of nature from birds & chipmunks, to cows & roosters in the distance. We thoroughly enjoyed the sounds of the horses trotting down the roads as well! Plenty of outdoor sitting spaces for us to gather together or retreat alone. And the hot tub was a favorite spot to unwind in the evenings. We will absolutely have to visit again! Thank you for the perfect weekend retreat!

Short stay
We arrived this lovely cabin ready to enjoy a few days of peace and quiet. It is just lovely and so very clean. Unfortunately, just a few hours later we were called home. In our haste to repack and leave, I walked off and left my wedding ring. Paul, very kindly, mailed it to me; I was so thankful. We are hoping to go back one day. It is so peaceful there, and I’m sure we would enjoy it very much.

Such a beautiful home! Had everything we needed and extremely clean! Enjoyed having coffee on deck in mornings and watching the wildlife. The only disappointment was the hot tub was extremely cloudy the first two days. Seemed to have lotions or oils settled on top. By day three, it cleared up some. We will definitely stay again!

Anniversary Get Away
My husband and I and another couple came to relax and celebrate our anniversaries. This cabin was absolutely stunning. It was spotless and very comfortable. They provided all the necessities and the porch and landscaping was amazing,ing.We hope to stay again in the fall.

Perfect little retreat
We were searching for a quiet little getaway with friends, and this cabin was perfect! There were deer in the yard and tons of birds everywhere! We thoroughly enjoyed the wraparound porch/deck! It was the perfect spot to drink coffee, read a book, and talk about life! We ventured out to do some shopping and visit a couple restaurants. The wifi was strong inside the cabin if we needed it! Highly recommend this beautiful retreat!

Sisters weekend getaway

Perfect Peaceful Getaway
Wow! Just wow. This property and home seemed absolutely brand new! Everything was super clean, easy to find, very quiet and cozy! It was the perfect getaway for a mom and son, disconnecting (no TV was a good thing!) and just talking and playing games. Walking around the property a bit we found the porch swing and then the string lights to the fire pit was just such a nice touch! We loved everything about this place and cannot wait to return!
