「It was a nice and quiet place 」

「I made a last minute choice to stay overnight and chose quickly, without really knowing the area. It wasn't the safest feeling place I've ever stayed, and if I'd taken the time, I might have chosen a different location. There were very few cars in the parking lot and the lot was not well-lit, which made me nervous. The bed was comfortable and I slept fine. 「My wife and I stayed two nights here and it was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin is behind the owners house but they have put blinds in the cabin and also have a privacy fence between the house and the cabin so we did have privacy. They provide you with a remote to open the gate so you can come and go as you please. The cabin is small but perfect for a couple just looking to get away. We brought a puzzle and assembled it during our stay. 」

「If you’re looking for a modern, luxurious, secluded location this is not for you. But if you are looking for a rustic farmhouse reminiscent of your grandparents or great grandparents and within walking distance of Main St, this place will work. Keep in mind it is a 1930’s house with a lot of the original “charm”. We loved it and plan to stay again.」

「My wife and I spent 3 nights for her birthday and loved it! She loved the white lights on the porch and sitting on the swing in the evening. We both enjoyed meeting the animals around the property. The cabin itself was so cozy and the bed so comfortable! It is conveniently located to historic Mount Airy and other places. We would definitely recommend!」

「If you are looking for a tidy little cabin to be 'home base' for a stay in the shadow of Pilot Mountain - This is it. The host was very attentive to my requests and quickly attempted to rectify a noise coming from the H2O heater. I always say: It is less about the problems you encounter and more about how those problems are addressed!Drew did a great job and I highly recommend! 」
