We stayed at Barsala at Ballpark Heights during the Arch Madness basketball tournaments. This was convenience since as we were right next to Ballpark Village and within walking distance of the Enterprise Center. Upon arrival, we were without a few essential amenities; however, a quick text resolved that and those essentials were provided rather quickly.

Location good, safe, clean. Everything else bad
Check in process is confusing, I completed the online check in multiple times and I still had technical issues with my code at the door, and since there is no one to help anywhere outside of business hours you are stuck there locked out. We also had zero toiletries in the bathroom, kitchen, living area, bedroom, etc. at all upon our arrival. (No batteries for remote, which had not been set up, was still in packaging, no toilet paper, shampoo/soap/towels sheets etc) until second day. Was brought without us asking which was nice. Other than these two things - property was in excellent condition. Very clean and safe. Kind of looked weird but Barsala seems awfully cheap lol. Location couldn’t be better. For the price, may be worth it. Not sure I love the off site front desk concept

I really liked the location of the venue. I enjoyed that there was the ability to walk to ballpark village. That was really nice. I did not like the apartment advised that I would be able to see the downtown area. The only windows in the room looked out to a closed in courtyard. The room had only one towel, only one dish towel. That was very disappointing. The last concern was that entering the room you were always greeted by this smell. The smell wasn't overpowering but it was annoying when you just had a good time outside then you would have this smell when you returned. It was not the luxury stay that was presented in the advertisements.

I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The place didn’t look like the pictures at all—the floors weren’t finished, which made the entire experience feel incomplete and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, there were no basic toiletries like toilet paper provided, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work the entire week. I had to rely on my own data, which ended up costing me significantly. I tried contacting customer service, and while they answered promptly, they weren’t directly connected to Barsala. They moved me to a bigger room, which I appreciated, but it still had the same issues: no floors and no working Wi-Fi. I also tried reaching out to the property manager, Maggie, every day, and every time I was told she would call me back—but she never did. After all the inconvenience and the additional expenses for using my own data, there was no follow-up or compensation offered. The only positives were the location and the nice rooftop view, but that’s not enough to justify the disappointing experience. For the price I paid, I expected much better.
