「Great place to stay. The Manor House was located in a private setting in the woods on a secluded road on top a scenic hilltop along the Illinois river valley. Checking in was easy and accommodating. The Manor House was stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The decor was unique and well kept. The house was clean in every aspect. By far the best place we have stayed in the Peoria area to date. I hope to stay at The Manor House next year. 」

「The property owners were very nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. The reference in the listing to a picnic on the beach seems mis-leading. You do have a nice view over the river and we had a pretty sunset but no beach. The house looks nicer in the pictures than in person although it is large and accommodated our needs. There are a lot DIY renovations that pretty odd but didn't really interfere with our stay. Just not as luxurious as represented. I should acknowledge I manage some rental...

「Ah, these girls graduated in 1975 so our version of “partying” was a little different 50 years ago! But we found the house to be well stocked and furnished nicely. Comfortable beds and really nice bathrooms! Did not use the hot tub …but thot it might be nice to add a table and chairs outdoors…but otherwise the property met our needs and was very spacious!」
