“What an absolute gem! Booked this for 1 night with my husband for a chilled night after a night in Scarborough, OMG how relaxing it was. Definitely worth a visit. “Very easy to find given the directions from the hosts. We received a very warm welcome from Richard who explained everything we could possibly need for our stay. Bramwood was very clean and had all the amenities we needed plus more. The location is superb everything in Pickering is just a few minutes walk away, just one minute to the high street. “A wonderful hidden gem B&B. Lovely welcome from Pascal and his personalised breakfasts with his famous sourdough bread are delicious. It’s the special little things that make you feel special, hime made cookies in the room, canapés and bubbles on arrival. Bottled water in the room as well as plenty of beverages and toiletries. Great location for the coast of the lovely market towns and return after a long day to a comfortable bed. ”

“Overall good. Beautiful room and hotel. Room very hot though and unfortunately the hotel staff couldn't fix the problem. It was 24 degrees permanently. We had to leave the wondow open and the duvet off. Beautiful food in the restaurant in the evening. Breakfast ok, nothing special. ”

“This is a wonderful property and unusual for a hotel with a spa. It is located in the market town of Helmsley which offers a great selection of places to wander to. The hotel has a range of rooms - this time we stayed in a spa suite and couldn’t fault it. A large entrance into a separate living area, a huge bedroom and bathroom with fabulous bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options. The spa is included in the price too, which is another reason to visit this……
