I was looking for a quick and convenient spot to spend the night while traveling. It had a clean bed, super easy parking and the staff was really nice. The bed while firmer than I would like, was possibly the most comfy I had on my trip.
My understanding from other reviews is that this place is under new management and they are working on it.
My room had some spiders living on the door. When the door first opened a few of them went into the room and settled in around the door. While I appreciate that spiders are a natural form of pest control, I didn't quite appreciate having them as roommates for the evening. The larger web on the outside door I had to duck under a bit to get in/out of the room. There was a huge spider on it, I've got a bit of a fear of spiders so there was no way I was going to be touching it. I was okay-ish with the spiders so as long as they kept to their side of the room. Some of them did, some I couldn't account for their location in the morning.
There were some stains on the floor and the room smelled of WD30 which I assume was from some repairs that had been done. There was a second locked door leading to what I am assuming is a hall for staff. Having no key or deadbolt to block that door, I did end up moving a chair to block the door for added security. There wasn't a deadbolt on the main door which had been removed. Putting back deadbolts would add to the feeling of safety, especially for solo guests.
