We were very fortunate to be able to stay at the delightful Archontiko Chioti Hotel for two weeks in November 2019 while climbing in Leonidio. I cannot speak highly enough of the beautifully traditionally remodeled rooms, and most if all the warm, friendly, attentive and professional staff.
The owner of the hotel, Angeliki, went out of her way to juggle the hotel schedule so that we could stay at the hotel for our entire trip. This meant changing rooms a few times during our stay, but much to our surprise and delight, each room we stayed in was unique and beautifully decorated. The first room was a large suite facing the cliffs of Leonidio, our second room was smaller, but convex in shape with a rock wall interior that was a perfect complement for rock climbers. Our last room was the master suite with 6 windows and a fireplace. The beds in all rooms were luxurious and provided many excellent nights of deep sleep. We would gladly stay in any of these rooms again on our next trip
The breakfasts were excellent and more than ample. If I were to offer any suggestion to improve them, it would only be that the coffee could be a little stronger, but understand that some guests may not enjoy coffee as strong as I prefer.
The Hotel really stands out due to the stellar amazing staff. Mary, Lena and Olga took excellent care of us during our stay and felt like family by the time we left. Regardless of how beautiful or comfortable a hotel is, in my experience the staff is what
