“Staff were a delight the entire stay. Room (1) was beautiful and clean, with windows on 3 sides (excellent for a breeze), lovely roll top bed, comfy mattress and very nice modern bathroom. Bathrobes were a nice touch. Ate at the hotel Saturday night and it was superb. Scotch egg was delicious, pork fabulous and the pizza was gorgeous. Excellent wine selection and utterly superb soft drink (bottles in the fridge) range. Breakfast was really good. Yoghurt, fruits and cereal, then cooked……

“This was an absolute gem of a retreat. I was on a choir visit at The Abbey and needed to get there and back quickly between rehearsals and services and the place was just gorgeous. Beautifulmbig bedroom with all those little touches and sweet garden. Staff really helpful about leaving the car there after checkout and having a friend over for coffee. Breakfast was incredible…I want to come back!!!”

“This was my second stay at The Crown at Harnhill, and once again, it did not disappoint! From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout my stay. “We stayed in Room 8 for four nights and had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was made to order by the chef and was absolutely delicious. The dinners were magnificent – and the Sunday roast was one of the best we've ever had! Everything was made from scratch, with perfectly cooked vegetables and a choice of pork, beef, lamb, or chicken (or even a mix of meats!).
