My stay at B1 Hotel in Sofia was disappointing. The room was unbearably warm, and the air conditioning didn’t work—reception simply told me to open a window, but the hotel is in a noisy area, making sleep impossible. Thin walls and an adjoining room door meant I could hear every conversation next door. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the shower constantly dripped, and there was no lock on the door. While the decor was nice, the location was convenient, and the shower had good pressure, the lack of comfort and amenities made for a frustrating stay. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms look good. Allthough matrimonial bed was confirmed, they needed to put two single beds together when we arrived. Breakfast is Not bad except the coffee! They offer fully automatic machines with beans but sweetened powder-milk. Fresh milk on the buffet is cold. If you need warm they heat it up for you… how complicated! No free water in the room or water dispenser with reusable water like in other hotels. Minibar is pricy.

Chambre de bonne taille, agréable, mais ventilation non fonctionnelle ou que nous n'avons pas réussi a faire convenablement fonctionner, chaleur étouffante forcant à ouvrir la fenêtre qui donnait sur une autoroute donc bruyante. Dommage car chambre agréable. Soucis informatique initial à notre arrivée ne retrouvant pas de trace du paiement, mais heureusement personnel à l'écoute qui a pu gérer la situation.

5* new hotel not far from airport
I chose this hotel as it was fairly new. Arrived late in the evening due to late arrival of my flight. Parking in the underground car park was easy, however the signage from garage to lifts and entrance was slightly difficult (no signage). Easy check in. Room was really nice, took a little while to understand the thermostat in room. Good size room, amazing bathroom. Cant comment on the food as didnt eat there. Definitely would recommend staying here.
