「The hotel missed our booking, we were offered a room where the previous guest had not reached the bathroom in time after too much beer with a distinct odor left in the room. As we could not stay in the piss saturated room we were giving the only spare room, a miniature 2,4 x 3 meters in size, somewhat challenging fitting two persons, two bikes and rather spacious panniers in there. The shared bathroom, shower and kitchen were ok.」

「Comfortable ,relaxing,peaceful . Everything you need for a break away. Close to food , beach and the chocolate factory. 」

「A lovely location and relatively good value for money, but the Rainforest rooms themselves are very tired and long overdue for a reno. No powerpoints next to the beds is a real pain, and would take 5 mins for an electrician to install. Note that the Rainforest rooms are in a separate facility away from the reception/bar/restaurant/beachfront rooms, which I'm sure are much nicer. Staff were great and the meals at Buko are excellent. 」

「No lighting outside the room so was a bit tricky finding the lock; washing machines not operating properly and didn't spin the water out of your clothes; information book said washing machines and dryers were free due to COVID but we still had to pay for the dryer; insufficient toilet paper in the room and had to go search for some from the shared facilities amenities room; empty handwash in the bathroom on arrival; a bleached hand towel so although clean it looked awful; hot water ran out in...
