「Very well presented hotel in central Rye, right on the high street. Great well appointed room with a luxury en suite and super comfortable bed. The bar was great and gives you the option to drink after the pubs shut (early in Rye). The restaurant was well designed and decorated like the rest of the hotel though we eat at Fletchers for dinner. The hotel’s breakfast was the only thing I wouldn’t give 5 stars for but it didn’t spoil our stay particularly it was just wasn’t very tasty or...

Room very warm and difficult to cool even with supplied fan. Quite a tricky exit/entrance from main road depending on time of day. Staff lovely and made to feel welcome during the stay. Good value for the room chosen and overall a good experience.」

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」

「Conveniently situated a short walk from the station after a long journey, the cacophony of interior design features was strangely welcoming and the beautiful view over the lawn from the bedroom was a joy to wake up to. 「The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com...
