「A girlfriend and I wanted a few days R and R. This stunning property and location fitted the bill. The beds were so comfortable! Felt cocooned for a few days. Just what we needed. Would recommend the property to anyone wanted to get away from it all. Only downside was the check in process as it was dark by 4pm. We struggled to find the property despite good directions and then found we could not see very well to open the key box. 」

「Everything was just great. My only problem was trying to find our room. I have a disabled husband and had to walk a long way round to locate our room but thankfully a very kind man who worked there showed us the front door and the lift and also helped us with our luggage. 」

「Thoughtfully appointed historical period home. Amazing fireplace which was all set for easy use. Home it situated within steps of an abundance of dining and shopping choices. Best of all there is a dedicated parking spot.」

「Clean and tidy environment, walking distance to city center, free parking and high privacy. Full kitchen equipment, feel free to cook on your own or eat out for variety of restaurants. 」

「The purpose of our stay was for my elderly parents to have a small break and I chose this property as being suitable for their needs. Our expectations were definitely fulfilled. It is beautiful property in a pretty setting. Highlights for us was that being all on one level was easy for my elderly parents. Access to the pool was easy, the pool was lovely and warm and nice to have to ourselves. The full size snooker table was an added bonus and the snooker player amongst us made full use of it!...

「It was a perfect property for a large family getting together from different parts of the world. The house is spacious with many sleeping options and well equipped for large groups including cooking facilities. The garden is very pretty and well looked after. We had a great time. 」

「This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...

The beds were so comfortable and have never slept so well. It was peaceful and relaxing and was lovely to hear the church bells even through the night.
