「Location was great, bell staff was friendly and helpful, check in was easy and front desk clerk gave me an upgrade. However the rooms are dated and dirty. Curtains in my room (354) were torn to shreds. Tub leaked continuously and wouldn’t fully convert to a shower so the water pressure was horrible. Spoke to front desk but nothing changed throughout our 4 night stay. We were a group of friends in 5 different rooms and 3 rooms had significant plumbing issues. 「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. 「The staff is amazing. Coming back to the hotel every night felt like being welcomed home. The room with the balcony was absolutely charming and perfect. The beds are very comfortable. Vacherie restaurant on the ground floor was our favorite breakfast place. The area around the hotel is fun and lively and the courtyard is a quiet place to relax. We loved our stay. 」
