「I really enjoyed my stay here. This was my first time coming out to North Carolina for the Land of Oz park and the convenience of this location can’t be beat. 「The ONLY complaint I would have and was a surprise to us was that you unload your car and then park your vehicle back down the hill and then have to take a shuttle back to your car. You can’t just walk out and get in your car. The shuttle was quick don’t get me wrong but it was a little bit of a hassle. 「This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. 「Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend. 」

We stayed for the weekend for snowboarding at beech and loved being able to walk to the slopes and ski down to the lifts and also the walkable distance to the convenience stores and the delicious pizza place.
