We have booked room #548 from 11/23 to 11/25 because the Bomb Storm damaged the lines and our house was out of power from Tuesday. We have chosen the Level because we could cook food for our two kids using the kitchinet and get warm as well.
The prediction to get the power back from the Energy Company was Monday. That's why we booked two nights from 11/23 to 11/25.
The power got back in the evening on 11/23, so we left the next morning. We checked out on 11/24 around 11am.
We have contacted Expedia to understand our situation and give us a refund on the second night. They informed us that the refund request was denied from your side.
“ Maksim, I just spoke with the hotel, and unfortunately, they have denied our refund waiver request. Please note that the booking is non-refundable, and while you are allowed to check out early, there will be no refund for unused nights.”
We are kindly asking you to understand our situation and accept the refund for 1 day of staying. Any penny now counts to fix the damage that was done by the Storm.
