The property is nice enough, but we just had too many annoying things happen. Upon check in, we were told that the pool was closed for renovations. When we booked several weeks before the stay, there was no indication at that time that this was happening. There was no email or any info communicated through Expedia about this.
When checking into our room, we noticed right away that there were beard shavings all around the bathroom sink area. The sink was also backing up slightly. Next, the wifi did not work. The front desk agent was nice enough, but she did not know how to fix it. She mentioned that others had called with the same issue. I was given a number to call for tech support. I spent 15 minutes on the phone with the IT person and had to read her all of the wifi numbers from each all of our devices. She then said it would be escalated and each device would have to be manually put onto the network. The next morning, we had wifi. We also had a problem with the door handle. It wouldn’t open on a few occasions, unless it was lifted up. Pushing down wouldn’t work. Just odd.
Lastly, the breakfast was very average. The sausages and waffles were nice, but both mornings, the potatoes were undercooked and the eggs tasted like they were made from a powder.
