We had a lovely three night stay at Beach House Hotel. There was some refurbishment going on in the reception area at the time of our visit, these were undertaken during daytime hours when guests were out and so not a real inconvenience. The staff were friendly and approachable. Room was very comfortable with luxury toiletries provided in the bathroom. Perfect location in SeaHouses. Food was excellent.

On arrival at Beach House hotel we were welcomed at Reception by Dave who was friendly and professional. The check in was easy and we were soon directed to our room. We were asked if we needed help with our bags but said we would be fine. Our room, on the first floor, was large, bright and spacious. I was not very pleased that there was no window only a skylight but in the end this wasn't a problem as the velux window opened and had a blind. The en-suite was large and had everything needed plus lovely white towels! Breakfast was self service for cereal/fruit/toast etc. with staff who were friendly and attentive. You could also order cooked items. The full Northumberland breakfast set us up for the day and was well cooked and presented. The scrambled egg on sourdough toast was good but the toast wasn't really toasted enough! I think the only thing that we were not happy about was the water pressure in the shower which was very low but we would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The hotel location is excellent, great view of the adjacent beach and 3 miles from Bamburgh castle, with many other tourist attractions a short drive away. Our room was on the ground floor, quite large with a good sized bathroom pretty quiet apart from guests returning to their room later on (the sound proofing does not work when the door has big gaps between the door and frame!). We would return in future if visiting the area.

We booked a last minute room and were pleasantly surprised how lovely and clean and comfortable it was. The bar area in the evening was relaxing and inviting. The breakfast area was hectic. There was a good choice of food and was lovely. The coffee was lukewarm even after we asked for a fresh pot. It’s easy walking distance into town. Overall, a good stay.

This was my second time using this property and whilst the first time was excellent this time wasn’t as good. The main problem was that we were ignored at breakfast and when we did get there attention and ordered they forgot to bring it to us.Also the toilet wouldn’t flush, the basin tap was loose on arrival and it took 2 days to get sorted.

A great hotel, staff were all lovely, had a dog friendly room which was clean and smart. Hotel caters for doggy people but also has separate areas if anyone doesn't like dogs. Essy to park, a short walk from the village centre. Breakfast was delicious and happy hour 2-4-1 cocktails were a bonus.
