The location was beautiful and private and close to Stewarts Point General store (coffee and sandwiches) and the Lodge (cocktails and dinner). Easy access to Sea Ranch trails and community pools. 「House was extremely well equipped, hot tub was in excellent working order. Great views from the patio and very close to coastal hiking trails. Saw lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, gray fox) and marine life (whales and sea lions), and really enjoyed the deer and turkeys in our front yard every morning. The only negative was window screens that were non-existent or in need of repair, overall it was a great experience and would recommend.」

The property was enclosed by a fence and felt very secure and safe. 「This was a lovely house just a short walk from the bluffs, and with views of the ocean from the living room and the small upper deck (which would be great for whales, in season). The house was cozy and we stayed in and cooked almost every night. The kitchen is amazing -- a beautiful Viking gas stove and huge hood that allowed for high heat cooking and feasts. 「This would be a five-star review in all aspects except for a few maintenance issues that need attention: 1. Some light bulbs need to be replaced: one in the entry hall, one at ceiling level in the living room area, and one under-cabinet light in the kitchen. 2. The guest bath sink drain plug is inoperable. 3. The guest bathroom toilet paper dispenser falls apart when used. With these maintenance issues addressed, we’d highly recommend this home for a quiet retreat for a couple. 」

「This is a remote place that I planned to go to, in order to escape the city. On Saturday the guests were mostly parents with young children. The Lodge Center was like a pediatric clinic at all times of day and evening. I was seated at dinner there, paying at $40- 60 price point menu, in a darker hall way next to an area where 2- 3 infants were crawling around,one at the table next to ours unattended. The Sunday night stay was much better, no kids and less dogs. 」
