「Before I came to Madeira, I was a little worried that maybe it would let me down. But when j arrived this island, the Sunshine the sea made me so happy! I like this hotel so much, peaceful and beautiful! from the hotel. You can see the sea! The beautiful view! And five star service! And the bar has performance on Thursday! It's really nice! And you can enjoy your breakfast and lunch near the sea! The design of hotel is perfect and there is also a nog beautiful swimming pool and gym! I like it!」

「Because of our delayed flight from the UK, we didn't book in until midnight. However, the hotel had arranged a taxi to collect us and kept us informed by email. Booking in was easily done and later in the morning, the fellow at reception provided me with a teapot of milk! The choice at breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Another lady at reception even advised us of the correct bus and bus stop to get us back to the airport. Only a ten minute walk into town so very convenient -...

「I love the location by a beautiful park, in a walkable area. Good price for older charming hotel. to be clear I dont like many modern hotels with soulless modern decor. The lobby is staffed, chocolate shop out front attached. Lift to all floors from parking garage. Setup for an extended stay but lovely for the 1 night we stayed.」

「Brilliant breakfast. Central so we could easily walk to the market, cathedral restaurant area, marina. Lots of eateries around from cafes to higher end. On a side street so not a lot of traffic noise. Supermarket 3 min walk. Staff so friendly and helpful and serving staff brilliant, quietly super efficient. Room was very good, balcony, great shower. Cleaned every day. 」

「A very welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful staff . All areas are spotless and rooms spacious and comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and there is one heated pool . Very much appreciated in the winter months ! The hotel is in a convenient position with a short downward walk into Funchal and also benefits from certain areas within The Savoy Palace . Breakfasts delicious .. I could not fault this hotel and would definitely recommend. We will return ! 」
