“A lovely cozy cabin just perfect for relaxing. You can sit in front of the beautiful stone fireplace, hang out on the huge deck, or take a soak in the jetted tub. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, pot and pans, enough cutlery, dishes, mugs and glassware. It was really nice to bring along the pup and have him feel welcomed by the hosts rather than a burden. I really appreciated the firewood on site and the local restaurant and activities recommendations too! Do be advised that this cabin……

“This property had everything listed and then some! Even without leaves on the trees, the views were beautiful. The scenic drive was gorgeous and not far from downtown Galena at all. We felt right at home from the getgo. Even though there are homes nearby, we felt like we had all the privacy we were looking for and it was nice and quiet. ”

“Our stay was great. The cabin is very clean and well kept. The only issues that we had was the grill never came up to heat might need the gas burners cleaned out and the dryer in the basement took about 3 times to get clothes dry. We LOVE coming to this cabin as this is the 2nd time to rent and we our planning to rent again. Thanks for the great stay and letting us use your cabin.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Cute decor and most amenities we would need. Just a few things need cleaned and fixed to make it even more enjoyable. Ice maker in the freezer is not in working order, owner said he would get it fixed so hopefully he does. Lots of live and dead ladybugs in the house so I'm not sure how long ago the cabin was cleaned prior to our arrival. It being the off season, maybe the cleaners were there a while ago. Adding another shower would be a huge improvement……

“Beautiful view of Galena; historic home gave us a good feel for living well in the 1850s (except for modern conveniences); easy drive to downtown.We would not recommend this home if you need a walker, wheelchair, or other walking aids; parking in the back alley was a bit of a challenge for our mid-size SUV.Overall, we had a pleasant stay.”

“We had 4 couples in our party. Each couple had their own bedroom with bathroom. The living room, kitchen, the whole upstairs was very spacious. “My wife and I, our four kids and four grandkids did a ski weekend and stayed in the Galena Territories. This house was the best! Having a bathroom in each bedroom was a very nice convenience. Everyone enjoyed sitting in the spa outside with snow on the ground.The owners were friendly, easy to connect with and were are super responsive when needed! Already planning an adult golf weekend and will be back in this house if it's available!”
