“Beautiful hotel/pub with a great location near the beach. The room was comfortable with all amenities and some lovely personal touches (the toiletries were excellent and the homemade chocolate treats were, well, a treat!) The food in the pub was also great. Will stay again!”

“Hotel was great, although currently undergoing a refit in the bar & restaurant, service was very attentive. Parking is an issue as car park was full but there is a larger public car park, £13 per 24hrs, would be nice if, as a hotel resident they would off set this as the hotel car park is so small and can only fit 6-7 cars, so that would have been a nice gesture as a guest. food was great, but very small portions, I ordered the king scallops for starters only to have two scallops which was……

“The competency and friendliness of the staff is exceptional from initial welcome, to cleaners, we had a lovely stay at the Antelope in fact this was our second visit, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again or reccomend. it's ideally placed or shops, quayside Nd transport links. “We stayed in march with a 15 month old baby. Room was very good, we had one bed next to the wall, so baby was safe not to fall out. Excellent location of the hotel, quiet nights, good food choices for the dinner (steak and burger were especially delicious), also it was quiet during dinner times at both bar and restaurant areas. Water in the main swimming pool was too cold for the baby to go in, but we enjoyed jacuzzi bath. Also our baby had fun watching us play table tennis, American pool and……

“Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay. Room felt a bit dated although we had a very big room with a comfortable bed. Bathroom could do with a curtain rather than a net curtain as when you have the light on at night you feel overlooked by neighbouring properties. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice and decent size. Parking was good and secure. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return. ”
