「Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult.」

「The house was nice and tidy when we arrived. We had everything we needed and felt super comfortable right away. Everyone loved the view of the hills from the balcony and how close the house was to Boomer's Beach. The owner is a great communicator. 「A great place to stay - gorgeous views, fishing at the end of the garden, peace and quiet (except for the wonderful birdsong),a great place to rest and read or get out and about - so close to the Murray Mouth.. 「We had an upstairs room and did request a room upgrade if available which we did not get. Would have been a good time for them to have done it as they were doing huge renovations in their poker room which affected their entry and reception area. It will be wonderful in a few weeks or months I guess. We had a beef schnitzel with Dianne gravy and a small side salad and chips for tea which was probably a little bit overpriced but very nice. The girl that greeted us at the hotel was very friendly...
