1, I stay 5 nights in this hotel. I have changed two rooms during this stay, one time it's upstairs the restaurant, the other time it's facing the other side of street ( which most of the rooms are facing the two streets) and both are loud at night, not only the weekends. Expect it to be quiet after 2am. If you sleep late it will not affect you. Also, if you wake up late in the morning, remember to put a "do not disturb" sign, because the cleaning lady comes to knock on your door at 9am.
2, I work in hospitality, so I am very sensitive to details and experience. For the training I have, we don't give "No" as an answer, instead we always provide a solution. However, I feel here as a guest I have a slap on my face. I use laundry service in hotels all the time, and no hotel get wrong on the numbers except here. First day I fill in the form and sign the paper, the second day they forgot to put the paper and I asked the cleaning lady to bring, but I cannot communicate with her because she only speaks Spanish. They came back without a paper, and they combined my second laundry with the first laundry for the single second day bill and double charge me. I clearly told the hotel it's wrong, but they insisted they are right. We spent over 5000 euro in this hotel, I will not want to / have the need to cheat the hotel for less than 50 euro, but the attitude they treat with my complaints is "Sorry I am right you are wrong" without self-examination. You lose me as a customer for life.
