"Nice property, but we wish the hotel would have contacted us to let us know that the pool and jacuzzi were not operational so that we could have changed our reservation. Apparently there was a leak so they had closed it recently, but being notified would have been helpful."

"Perfect for an overnight stay to get to the airport early! Walls are a bit thin, but once other guests quieted down, I didn’t hear any noise from the airport or nearby road. I had to be at the airport at 430am and easily scheduled an uber the night before to make the 10 minute drive. Staff was extremely kind and accommodating upon arrival. "

"Perfect location for a visit to CalPoly. The hotel and restaurant staff were so helpful and friendly. Beds were comfy, room had ample space. We loved the shower products. There was a small issue in my bathroom and it was quickly fixed. Will definitely return."

"We had a lovely time. The breakfast was great with options to choose and the view is wonderful! The room was fine for our family. The only thing that would of made it outstanding is an elevator to the Sun deck. Be prepared to walk up the stairs for breakfast 🙂"

"VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, TUCKED AWAY AT THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY. DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE BOB JONES TRAIL. AN EASY HIKE/WALKING PAVED TRAIL. LISTEN TO THE LEAVES MOVING IN THE TREES. BICYCLES ARE INCLUDED WITH YOUR ROOM RATE, THAT WAS A SURPRISE!! COMFORTABLE BED, JET TUB AND TONS OF RESTURANTS TO CHOOSE FROM IN THE AREA. "

"Great stay at Avila Lighthouse Suites. It was a first time staying in the area. Beautiful views and beach without being overly crowded, and close to Pismo and downtown San Luis Obispo. Free Breakfast was a pleasant surprise and was really great, freshly cut fruit, hot items, and the other basic continental fare. Overall we would stay here again!"

"The room is clean and newly remodeled. The space has no closet and is smaller than some Vangabond hotels . The heater did not warm up the room enough. The location is near Costco whole sale. Overall it is good for budge travel. "

"They had great beds, and thoughtful features such as grab bars in tub, soap in dispensers, charging station, coffee or decaf all day, breakfast, water, ice, and clean. the staff was thoughtful and nice, checkout was quick. it was nice to have a well stocked gym. "

"We have never stayed in a mobile / tiny home cabin so it was outside our normal. The "cabin" we stayed in was small but functional. There are hiking trails around the property, swimming pool, and other activities within the campground. Easy driving distance to Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, and Port San Luis. The reception staff are gracious and very welcoming. An awesome two day stay for my spouse and self. "
