“This is a beautiful hotel and the double bed room was huge. The decor is very upscale and the rooftop lounge/ hot tub area is amazing. Now for the cons: The parking situation is not ideal. There’s a garage within walking distance but it’s very easy to get turned around in there. We ended up lost trying to find our way back out to the hotel. The beds and pillows are not comfortable at all. The pillows were completely flat and the mattress was hard as a rock. Do not expect to sleep well……

“Water is not hot when showering. Towels are ruff not soft. Bed makes noise when you move. Nobody at the bar. Pool is not deep enough.”

“This is our second staying at this hotel. The first time was extraordinary and that is why we comeback. This time, Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to the condition of the room. The air conditioning ducts had a strong musty odor, not only smelling of dampness but also resembling the smell associated with mold or black mold growth. We reported the issue and requested a room change, but were told the hotel was fully booked. Instead, we were provided with a dehumidifier; however, it……

I’m not one to write bad reviews but for this trip & as a licensed Travel Agent, I have to be honest to help other future guests. Casa Placita is located in a busy location which means loud music at night. But they took that into account & provided free earplugs in the bedroom. On the other hand it’s a nice location if u want to check out the many bars & restos within the area. I……
