"First of all the view from the balcony was amazing. I know the hotel didnt come with a pool but didnt care if it. The beach was nearby and walkable. The breakfast was reasonable. We was hoping for eggs/ pancake. The elite suite was great however the carpet wasnt clean couldn't walk barefoot in the room. But other then that everything was great. Every quiet and peaceful. I would definitely go back again. I would recommend other people to come here. "

"this is an old hotel that has been restored several times. As such, it is NOT a resort like you would get in "new" San Juan. What it doesn't have in bells and whistles it makes up for in warmth and charm. The staff go above and beyond, the location is unbeatable, and the old world ambiance makes for a wonderful stay. My only word of caution is do not drive to the hotel as there is no dedicated parking, and especially on weekends, parking can be a challenge. Will definitely stay there again!"

As a solo traveler I was safe and secure. My room, the classic queen, was small, perfect for one, would’ve been a bit tight with two. Outlets were sparse (as expected in a building several hundred years old) and the Flat screen TV didn’t work great. Staff was friendly and welcoming *****."
