"Week end hivernal très reposant le long du canal et au milieu des champs inondés par la Meuse. Endroit très calme. Promenade en forêt et sur le chemin de halage avec une petite visite sur Verdun. La télé et le Wifi ne sont pas au meilleur de leurs formes mais nous n'étions pas là pour ça. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous sommes repartis très reposés. Lieu à recommander pour se ressourcer. "We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely family home, there was plenty of space and lots of outdoor activities. We really liked the pool however it isn’t fenced which would have been good to know in advance. There is a local vineyard, restaurant and a supermarket nearby. We would definitely recommend this large house to other groups wanting a quiet getaway. The hosts were extremely helpful and offered to help with anything we needed."

"The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"Het is een prachtige woning op het Franse platteland. Bij warm weer is het binnen lekker koel. Het staat in een heel klein gehuchtje, waar verder geen voorzieningen zijn. Dat is het enige nadeel, wel heerlijk rustig. Ook voor stadjes en musea en dergelijke moet je wel een eindje rijden. De eigenaresse is heel aardig en spreekt naast Frans ook goed Engels."

Well worth a visit when in the Meuse

"We chose this hotel because it had high ratings and it fully deserved them ! Everything was perfect and it is one of the most comfortable stays we have ever experienced. Lots of space in the room and the bathroom, perfect temperature, tastefully furnished, excellent breakfast and a host to whom nothing is too much trouble."

A Stay in France’s Countryside.

"The building of course is someone’s home as are many B&Bs. It can improve its initial impression which is the entrance and tidy up the place in the lobby and dining area. No complaints on the room other than a bit too many chairs. Less is sometime better allowing more room to move around. The bathroom was above standard. Overall, it is definitely worth the price. Just know it is in a small village several miles from Verdun where you can find more place to eat. It is definitely out in the country. In addition , the hosts were very friendly and tried hard to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. "
