“Absolutely beautiful, historic hotel. They did an incredible job restoring it and making it over the top welcoming! From the wine and books to the back patio, fruit trees, bicycles, beautiful furniture, fabulous linens, to the personal service and cozy atmosphere... “This place worked out perfectly for my trip to visit family nearby. The suite was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Weather was not conducive to using the pool, but the grounds and view were very nice. I did not get to meet the hosts during my short visit, but all information and communication was thorough and efficient. Any questions and/or concerns were very promptly responded to. “The location was incredible, we were walking distance from the national park trailhead, soft brown dirt roads. The home is surrounded by a desert garden full of birds and wildlife. We actually SAW A HUGE JAVALINA walking back from the national park one evening at dusk (it grunted, and ran off into the underbrush). “When we checked in while in front of the property, we realized we confirmed the incorrect dates. We called the owner, he stated he'd meet us in 5-minutes, he was at the property in 2-minutes. We were panicking because we also had our adult dog with us and needed a 2-night stay. Fortunately, the other party renting the unit had to leave early, so the owner helped up secure the weekend rental.He couldn't have been any more helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay in Tucson.”
