「An excellent stay in a good property, in an ideal location for Dogs Bay. We were disappointed that the garden shrubs screened the view of the bay. We were unable to make the heating system work ideally for us. We would have appreciated a change of bed linen during our 3 week stay. In all other respects a lovely property which we enjoyed greatly.」

Die Stadt Clifden ist ca. 5 Km entfernt dort kann man sich mit allen notwendigen wie z.B. Lebensmitteln versorgen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.」

We had great Irish weather - sunny some days, windy and rainy others. The School House was like a safe harbor. 「The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. There are electric blankets in the bed to help with the dampness. Not really sure if the water is drinkable. Martin the owner said it is but we...

The house by itself is very comfortable and practical. And Tim is the best host, very available and helpful. We couldn’t hope for a better basecamp for our week in Connemara.」
