「As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many motels, but Village Resort Taupo stands out as one of the best. The apartment was spacious, impeccably clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is superb - it's just a 2-minute walk across the road to the lake, yet the motel itself is very quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds at the lakeside. I will absolutely be returning to stay there on my next visit to Taupo.」

「We arrived at night, and the unit was welcoming and warm. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Can i suggest some new pillows please? While the pillow cases and protective covers were good, the pillows themselves had seen better days and were flat and/or a bit lumpy in one instance. I would also suggest the tatty plastic table cloth be updated. Thank you for having us, your unit was just right for the three of us. Kind regards, Kaylene Young」

「Great little place for dad or mum with the two kids. Very tidy and all the things you need. If you're going to Taupo with the kids (especially if it rains) I recommend the AC Baths, life saver on a rainy day with a 5 and 7yo in tow. Thanks for a great stay Jeremy. (Hot tip - leave your car out front as Jeremy says - it's not easy getting out.)」
