「Property is very nice. A short walk to a playground by the lake. One block to a nice Mexican Restaurant and one block to a coffee house and a very awesome barber shop where my great grandson got his first haircut. We found out later that his dad had his very first haircut there too. Enjoyed the comfy beds.」

「We were in the area from out of town visiting family and this place was perfect. Very clean, well appointed, and charming as could be. We enjoyed waking up to the lake view every morning and the peace & quiet was welcomed after a long days of visiting family. We will definitely stay here again.」

「We were very happy to stay at The Chestnut. The pictures were accurate & Kerrie responded quickly when I had a question before coming. We were in Apartment B & our friends were in Apt A. I had broken my foot about a week before we went & I was so glad my husband decided to go...It wasn't a problem but there are approximately 26 steps to go up....but well worth it. The Mexican Restaurant below the apartment has wonderful food. Also, it isn't open late so there wasn't a problem with...

「Beautiful setting on Appleton City Lake. Cottages are right on the lake and it was fun to wake up to the mist rising from the lake, rooster crowing in the distance. Later enjoy sitting in the sunshine and watching the ducks and sparrows on the lake, also heard some cows mooing. Just enjoy the fresh country air! Rustic Duck restaurant was very accommodating too. 」

「Snacks, water, coffee, tea, condiments were provided as part of their service. The house was very comfy and welcoming. Plenty of parking space. Close to most things in town. We were there visiting family and for a funeral. We just loved it. I would definitely stay there again. It was less expensive than the hotels and so much more room and comfort.」
