「It's a small room, but comfortable. I slept well. The refrigerator doesn't properly work. I turned it to its coldest setting and still it would not freeze my Esky bottles. In fact the surrounds of the freezer part had melted water on it this morning, not frozen. The bathroom could do with somewhere to put things. There is room beside the shower for a small table.」

「We stayed here because we went to a concert for Hanging Rock and it was convenient. The free shuttle was particularly handy! The staff were really friendly, beautiful surroundings, nice enough foyer/restaurant. Breakfast consisted of a nice variety of hot and cold selections (albeit the 'hot' food was lukewarm). However the room was in serious need of an upgrade and a complete rip off for how much it cost. Firstly it was dark and dingy, with a poor attempt at a freshen up of what was once brick....

「I arrived late after dark and the destination / address listed was not where my confirmation said - despite a new GPS in a new Ford Ranger then google maps on my phone - I simply could not find the place. Signage needs to be improved off the main road- I actually can’t say if the place actually exists!
I wouldn’t mind a refund or a credit to stay another time. I had to drive 40 Km away to get into a motel to get to my son at Puckapunyal the next day for a March out. Really disappointed 😢」

「Novella and Bob were wonderful hosts and very thoughtful which helped us settle us very quickly. As this was winter time we appreciated the fire already alight and even the electric blanket was on. Little extras in the fridge for us to enjoy we appreciated. Bed we found very comfortable. We will not hesitate to tell others of this special place and we will go again.」
