Burley Croft is a beautifully renovated 3 bedroomed cottage sleeping up to 6, located a few minutes walk into the Village of Burley. Award winning pubs and restaurants just minutes down the road. Located in the heartland of The New Forest National Park with walking and 9 popular cycling trails for everyone to enjoy.
Inside the cottage, there is gas central heating, smart TVs in all three bedrooms, the Family Room and the Lounge; USB charging points in all rooms (excluding bathrooms) and reliable wifi.
Downstairs has a roomy open plan feel - The Family Room! It has a wood burning stove, a sofa, a dining table that seats 6, a fully equipped kitchen including fridge, dishwasher, microwave, cafetiere, electric oven and hob.
Through the Family Room is the Boot Room. This has direct access to the outside patio area and garden. The Boot Room includes a kitchen sink, washer/dryer and coat hanging facilities as well as a WC.
There is an additional Lounge room at the front of the house downstairs with sofas and coffee tables, the perfect place to relax after a day in the forest!

Bedroom 1: super king bed which separates to two twin beds (please request bed configuration when making the booking). Also has chest of drawers and mirrored wardrobe.
The ensuite bathroom includes bath, shower, WC and wash hand basin.
Bedroom 2: has a double bed and mirrored wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: a full size single bed with a pull-out second full size single bed. (Please request bed configuration when making the booking).
If using the second bed, please note space is extremely limited.
Bathroom: Includes shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin.
A travel cot is available (please request when booking).
All bedlinen and towels are provided.
All wardrobes have hanging space as well as storage drawers.
Outside @ Burley Croft
The large rear garden overlooking fields is hidden behind a secure fence.
The garden includes a lockable shed that can be used for storing bicycles, buggies and other equipment and has a fridge freezer for extra supplies!
The garden has laid to lawn with plenty of space to play as well as a patio with bench and outdoor picnic table and seating for up 10 people.
There is a charcoal BBQ and lighting for the dark nights. The stars are amazing in the New Forest!
There is secure parking for two to three vehicles (size dependent) behind a picket fence at the front of the property.

Location:
A few hundred metres walk lies the centre of Burley village which has a cycle hire centre and cycle shop, cider farm, tea rooms, gift shops, art galleries and a pick-your-own farm as well as some traditional country pubs, and a small village store & post office with butcher and local artisan products.
Also in the immediate vicinity are horse riding stables, golf course and fishing lake, along with an array of other interesting shops, including one relating to witches and covens of previous years all of which are within walking distance.
Ponies, donkeys, cattle and at certain times of the year pigs roam freely.
Burley is a perfect location for exploring the beautiful New Forest National Park and surrounding fabulous sandy beaches of The Solent.
Forest trails are minutes from the doorstep of Burley Croft cottage taking you on journeys through ancient woodlands, past ponds where ponies and cattle gather, through idyllic glades with deer and across the open heaths.
There are always plenty of activities in the New Forest and around depending on how active and adventurous do you want to be!

Burley is a perfect location for exploring the beautiful and fabulous beaches, which include Avon, Highcliffe, Hengistbury Head (10m), Mudeford Quay (9m), Southbourne (9m), Bournemouth (17.5m), and Poole (21m) which are only a short drive away.
Ringwood (6m) market town is close by and has an array of shops including Waitrose and Sainsbury’s, a leisure centre and river side walks and Go Ape at Moors Valley (8.5m).
On other short drives and you will discover the Georgian market town of Lymington (11m), with its nature reserve and ferry to the Isle of Wight; the scenic coastline and beaches towards Highcliffe Castle; Mudeford with its short ferry journey to the Sandspit; Hengistbury Head with its land train; and the town of Christchurch (10m) with its Priory, and river and boating activities. Alternatively if you drive inland you will find the beautiful town of Beaulieu (14.5m), the river towards the historic village of Bucklers Hard, the world famous Beaulieu Motor Museum and Abbey or the stunning Exbury Gardens (18m).
A little further afield are Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park (16m) or Portsmouth (40m) with its Historic Dockyard including the Mary Rose, the Victory and the Warrior. Going West explore the unspoilt countryside of Dorset or the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast from West Bay, Bridport (54m) and on to Weymouth (46m), with its superb scenery and coastal walking. Spend a day at Lyme Regis (64m) with its harbour, renowned Cobb, beach and shops, and enjoy fossil hunting, boating, swimming and fishing.
Other places of interest are Stonehenge (33m), Salisbury with its Medieval history, Monkey World, The Tank Museum near Wool (33m) and Southampton (21m), with its maritime history and West Quay shopping centre.
