「Great location across from beach. 7eur taxi ride from bus station if u don't want to walk. Big rooms with balcony looking out to road and beach. Old town is mins away and either directions leaving hotel you will find lots and lots of tavernas. The host was very helpful in arranging a taxi for us for early departure to Heraklion to catch ferry since Ktel bus ride was cutting it close. Although bus ride is much cheaper and coach is really comfortable it costs 80eur by taxi for about 1:10mins...

「The apartments at Hotel Elida are run by a friendly and welcoming family who always take the time to have a chat & give advice on places to visit in the local area. They're clean & all have their own balcony overlooking the pool. There's parking outside for some cars, though the road is very narrow, so only one vehicle wide. 「We loved our stay at The Pepi. It was charming and the service was excellent. The interior of the room we stayed in was well laid out. The beds were very firm, almost too firm for us but it was not a deal breaker and the service and hotel itself were wonderful. Very sweet breakfast options and it is directly in the center of old town but it was quiet.」
