Lovely waterfront cottage with beautiful sunset views. Large backyard, and canoe (included) to get around lagoons, which lead to open Lake Simcoe. It is also a few minute walk to a public beach with sandy bottom and shallow water, perfect for kids. Enjoy Swimming, hiking, and fishing in summer and ice fishing, or ski at Horseshoe Valley in the winter. If you wish to stay indoor, there is also wifi, FireTV to keep you well entertained. BBQ and patio set as well as place for fire pit
Our house rules: no smoking inside the house, no parties or events.

Great little cottage
Me and my family had a great stay here. The cottage was great and the owners were amazing. Its nice and quiet but not far from parks both dog and kids as well as close to the beach. We would definitely go back.

Great time had by all. Absolutely no complaints. The place is exactly as advertised from the canoe , bikes to hikes there's not a bad way to explore Lagoon city.

Perfect family getaway
Had a wonderful stay with my elderly mother, brother and teenage son. Spacious bedrooms and open concept. Enjoyed the beaches and the backyard view of the lagoon. It was perfect for our needs. Thank you again.

Great getaway with the family
The property was exactly as listed. If not a little better. We had a fantastic time and everything we could ask for. It was within five minutes of what ever you wanted to do. if you’re into fishing and have small kids, this is the place to be and an inexperienced fisherman can walk away with at least 100 fish in a couple days. The hosts were great anytime I text reply was fast didn’t have to ask for much because basically everything was there.

If old, musty and decrepit is what you want, book here!
This cottage a d property is not maintained, not cleaned and, in my opinion uninhabitable... Most of the doors don't close, the floor is spongy and the smell is unlike any other. From the junk piles beside the house, to the unkept backyard, to a poorly sealed cottage full of every bug imaginable, this stay was horrible! The beds fall apart as you try to sleep on them, the bathroom welcomes you with urine on the seat and someone else's hair in the shower, feels just like home 🙄

Great location
location was great, communication with owner was excellent. He was very responsive. Cottage has everything you could possibly need. The only reason I gave it a 3 star was because the backyard was not maintained. It creates a hazard for small children. We had a bad storm and water came in the Cottage, only in the kitchen not a huge deal. Contacted owner and again he was very responsive. Would book again just not with kids as I stated the yard is cluttered and unsafe but it would be ok for a girls week end. All in all had a great time.

Very disappointing
I w expecting very much but this was worse than expected. I don’t normally like to give negative reviews but this Place should not even be allowed to be listed as a vacation rental. The inside was as the photos showed......but the backyard is basically a junk yard and this was not shown on the listing at all. There was old wood, broken sheds, broken trampoline, and just garbage everywhere. We left early and would not go back
