This property was beautiful but the preferred club lounge had no top shelf liquor. The Xhale lounge did not either. And when they did have one bottle of a top shelf liquor they hid it. You would pretty much have to ask and they would say they didn’t have any. Absolut and Bacardi aren’t top shelf. But they would market/sell Don Julio and Patron for bottle service in their clubs. Breathless Cancun Soul was not like this. It was so much better with actual top shelf liquor.

Been to a decent amount of all inclusives and this one was my favorite! Quality food and decent drink especially on the secrets side. The only flaw was the beach but it seems to be more of a cancun problem vs this hotel…. I would recommend this place and will most likely be back

We loved our trip and appreciated that the staff made us feel special by celebrating our one year anniversary with us. We really appreciated the service from Urbano, Daniel and Luis! We also really loved the entertainment on the property such as shows, concerts and silent discos.

Saw some reviews that said this was the lower end of secrets resorts, and it lived up to that. Menu is subpar, the food is resort food, bland, not exciting at all. Room service menu just sucked! Very limited items and never changes. Biggest complaint was the noise, every night the same thing drunks yelling and screaming till 2-3 in the morning. Then someone decided to use a hammer drill at 3 in the morning for a few nights. Stayed on the Secrets side in a swim out suite, never expected to get 2-3 hours of sleep a night when we went to relax. Will never go back to this location ever. This place was like a carnival cruise! This was our 5th stay at a secrets resort because we loved the others. This one is not for those that want to rest and relax.

I took my wife here for our anniversary/her birthday trip and it was our first experience at an all inclusive. TL;DR This place is a DREAM! The resort has amazing layout and has something for everyone based on what your taste is. It was a perfect fit for us because we’re folks who enjoy the peace and quiet but like having the option of going to the party. The Swimout Oceanview Junior Suite and (and the master suite) are absolutely worth it as they always seem to remain a nice cool temperature. That way you can retreat to them if the larger pools get too crowded or too warm in the Mexico heat, Most of all the service above what truly makes this place feel like your own personal heaven. They make sure to remember your name and always treat you like family if you treat them well. A special shoutout to Nidel, Luis, Jacob, Roger, and Brian for their excellence service and making us feel like we never wanted to leave. I see a lot of folks complain about the beach and I can understand because other resorts have those turquoise blue waters you look for in your vacation spot but it turned out that this year was a terrible year for sargassum (look it up and get familiar with it. You’ll be upset if your beach vacation is ruined by it) and Secrets has a barrier to protect its beaches from it. It’s not a perfect solution as some still gets through but it’s nothing compared to what has slammed other resorts in the area, and it’s well maintained. Enjoy your stay! We sure did!

I recently stayed at The Secret Hotel, and it lived up to the high standards I’ve come to expect from this international chain. The quality of service and food was consistently excellent throughout my stay. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep every night. The food was delicious and well-prepared, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. Loved every minute! There was a little bit of high pressure bait/switch at check in to “visit” another sister property & go home & tell all our friends & family how great it was -but we heard it was selling a travel club membership & would take almost all day - not sure if that’s true-but didn’t like that so we canceled & were made to feel like it was kind of taking away “someone’s brownie points”…
