We booked this hotel based on the comments of others who had stayed there, and all I can say was Big Mistake!
The Hotel itself was nice, the area was quiet and clean and we thought ok, this looks good! Then we went to reception and meet the very unfriendly receptionist who gave us our room.
Then the room.. to describe it is difficult, it was not in the main hotel and to be honest I think it was a converted garage or store room? One small window at the front so the electric light had to be on day and night and it was cold! Sparsely decorated and ZERO Chance of the “ view over Prague “ that was mentioned by many who stayed previously..
Then the killer blow! The first evening we arrived after our 4 hour drive there was a wedding in the hall directly next to our converted room and we could hear everything and the very loud band that were playing. , I went to reception to ask mr unfriendly if there was anything we could do ( a proper hotel room in the hotel would be nice :) ? But he was very stressed dealing with another unhappy customer and asked me to come back, I said ok, we would eat something across the street and come back in 30 minutes , which we did and behold .. the reception was closed and he was gone !!
The following day we spent the whole day in Prague which was wonderful!
All in all a very expensive stay in a converted storeroom and a receptionist who seriously needs to consider a career change ..
