“A warm welcome from the Reception lady, who quickly got me checked in and was very helpful. Comfortable room, plenty of space and room for hanging clothes up. Nice restaurant with lots of food and drink options, the waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Nice walks from the door.”

“Lovely old world hotel. Nice breakfast. The only fault was we were put in a room at top of the building, 4 landings and 36 stairs. Although elderly we managed but with some impaired mobility it wouldn't be good. Suggested to manager that they put a note on the site for this room booking. It was also a shared bathroom which was my fault for not reading it properly. ”

“A very pleasant 2 night stay. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was very good. Rooms had been updated and were done to a high standard. Our room did become a little hot due to a sunny day and just windows to allow in the air. Breakfasts were excellent but at busy times I felt for the staff as they were definitely stretched though they did their utmost to keep everything going. Well done to them. We would stay again for sure.”
