Pleasant hotel in Porto
The transport to the hotel is definitely an adventure. It’s a very comfortable journey in Telsla with a professional driver. The room is small but clean and well equipped. It’s quite a distance to the city center though. There’re a few restaurants at the end of the street. Good service at reception👍I enjoy the stay.

01032025: op vrijdag 2802025 ingecheckt. Marta en haar collega's zorgen er meteen voordat jij je als gast welkom voelt. Na het inchecken en een eerste kennismaking met een lekker glas port, de koffer naar de kamer gebracht. De kamer zelf: alle voorzieningen aanwezig, zeer schoon en voor een aantal nachten prima qua formaat. Het ontbijt is prima verzorgd en voor ieder wat wils. Vriendelijke medewerkers zorgen ervoor dat alles tot in de puntjes is verzorgd. Aan de bar zijn diverse lekkere lekkere (non) alcoholische dranken verkrijgbaar. Het diner is in dezelfde ruimte als het ontbijt en dat een beetje afbreuk aan de sfeer. Als de ledverlichting gedimd zou worden en de aankleding zou worden verbeterd, dan komt het helemaal goed. De verschillende gerechten smaakten goed. Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Een absolute aanrader!

This is a very nice hotel with great amenities, the only problem was the parking - we didn’t know it was across the street from the hotel. The street in front of the hotel is a one-way and is incredibly busy during rush hour, so we had to circle a couple of times before getting parked. We walked back from downtown in the evening and the area felt safe. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself was great—clean, comfortable, and with really comfy beds. The staff were friendly enough, and the location was convenient, with easy access to the metro, buses, and free parking. The one major downside was the restaurant. The bright lighting gave it more of a canteen feel rather than a proper restaurant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The mashed potatoes were chewy and tasteless, the beef cheeks were tough, and even the Francesinha, a signature Portuguese dish, was dry despite the sauce. Of course, that’s just our opinion, but we wouldn’t recommend dining there. Overall, the hotel was a solid choice for a stay in Porto—just better to eat elsewhere.

This was a five star hotel for customer service at an extremely reasonable rate. Picked up at the airport in a Tesla, lovely reception upon arrival, fruit and cookies in room and nothing too much for the friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room with a terrace, very clean and only a few minutes walk to the metro to get downtown. Top service, well done and thank you for being so welcoming. Origado!

The Hotel Jaguar staff are the icing on the cake. All of the front desk, bar, dining, shuttle and housekeeping staff were friendly, kind and very helpful to make our first visit to Porto special.
