"Host met us upon arrival and showed us the property. Property was spacious, well equipped and appointed for our party of five. The view from the deck is sensational and the surrounding countryside extremely peaceful. Great place to chill out for a few days and would recommend to anyone that enjoys a farmstay. Road to the property is quite steep and narrow, but the view and serenity is well worth it!"

"We had a great couple of weeks, the house was lovely, the views are amazing. Allevard is a great town with plenty of choice of restaurants. WiFi in the house was a bit patchy in the bedrooms but the teenagers coped! Communications with Remi were easy and quick, we would definitely return and recommend"

"Hele fijne eigenaren: Roman, Cindy en hond Rancho. Ze spreken zeer goed Engels wat zeer prettig is. De vakantie woning is prachtig gelegen naast de authentieke Auberge. Roman en Cindy serveren hier heerlijke gerechten uit de Savoie. Met voldoende sneeuw heeft de Auberge een directe verbinding met het prachtige skigebied les Sybelles. Indien er niet voldoende sneeuw ligt is het gebied ook makkelijk met de auto of shuttle bus te bereiken. Wij hebben een fantastische week gehad! Een aanrader!!"

"Liked the look of the hotel from the booking site reasonable price and location. Room was large , bed was comfy, location quiet and a good shower. Short walk to the lake where we luckily caught a bar for a beer before it closed it was Sunday afternoon. Eat in the restaurant next to the hotel which good although like the UK eating out in France is not the cheapest. Only issue we had was when a member of staff marched into our locked room without knocking. It was a bit embarrassing as I was about to shower. No apology until we raised it with the reception staff. But on the whole it was a good overnight stay. If you are heading north from here towards Calais and not in a busting hurry I would recommend the D road route towards Bourg-en-Bresse. Very pretty via beautiful gorges and cuts out some tolls and saves on back tracking into Chambery which was a bit of a mess to pick up the Autoroute."
