A peaceful place to stay

It is quite a nice experience to have stayed there for 10 days. The owners and the staffs there were really friendly, and responded to my requests immediately. The door nub was not working well, but I have no problem leaving my stuff in the room while I was away for meetings. It is a bit far from downtown, and after 9pm it is quite a challenge to get a bus to go back to that direction. However it has a really nice restaurant, and the rib eye there is the best I have ever had.

A Hidden Gem! The Lagoon Gardens was amazing! Our hosts Morgan and Annika welcomed us like family and delivered an experience like no other. This time at the Lagoon Gardens shaped our great experience in Vanuatu! We are looking forward to recommending this place to our friends. The waterfront views with kayaking was great. Beautiful jungle vibe with the swimming pool oasis added a special touch. Thanks to Morgan, Annika, and Mary for a great stay!

The property itself has a lot of potential, but it appears unfinished and unintentional in how it's been managed. The area surrounding is not centrally located, which is fine, but I think that puts the onus on the hotel to create an inviting atmosphere on site for guests. The staff are lovely and the rooms are cleaned, but the property overall appears unmaintained and lacking thought regarding guest experience. The rooms are quite shabby, and in my room the curtains were falling off the rings and stained. The dock and the swimming pool could both be highlights of this space, but unfortunately they are rather uninviting, appearing unfinished and both lacking proper seating areas.

The garden setting with pathways is beautiful. The cottages are spacious with a small little outside sitting area. The property is dated and although clean and tidy is in need of refreshing and updating. Breakfast was included and was good. But otherwise not a restaurant on premises. For the price and a one night stay it was enjoyable. Would not plan to stay long term.

Lovely location on the lagoon and the walkways are a Garden of Eden. Rooms are huge with good air con, fan and kitchen facilities. Youtube movies available on large screens in each room and the staff couldnt be more helpful. Breakfast is good, but theres no other meal options unless you walk to another nearby lagoon resort.

Stayed here twice on our trip and everything was great. The pool and garden was lovely and well kept. The location was scenic being on the lagoon and convenient with plenty of buses going just about anywhere 5 minute walk to Au Bon Marche (supermarket) Some reviews complain of cleanliness but we found our bungalow to be quite clean both times. Just keep in mind Vanuatu is not Australia, and from 2 other experiences we found this level of cleanliness is standard at this price point. (Little things really. ie shower had obviously been cleaned but the grout could have done with replacing / a pillow or two was at its end) Each bungalow felt secluded and was very quiet. We couldn’t hear the main road or other guests at all due to the garden. All amenities worked and the fan worked so well we didn’t need the aircon Bed and pillows were comfy. The ladies there did some laundry for us which was so lovely though due to it being off season raining overnight the clothes struggled to dry so it’s probably better to just not The included breakfast was really nice and filling (tropical fruit, mini pancakes, toast, sometimes with eggs, and coffee) The staff were beyond amazing and super accomodating. They were the best part of this place. Couldn’t have asked for more To note: The bus drivers know it as Vila Chaumière (near Korman stadium). We didn’t need it but if you get really stuck Lagoon Gardens themselves offer an option for a transfer

My sister and I really enjoyed staying at Lagoon Gardens. It felt like a home away from home. The staff were so friendly and made you feel welcome. I liked the kayaking and the breakfasts overlooking the lagoon. Transport was easy to get to and the staff supported us with booking transport when needed. As two girls travelling alone not once did we feel unsafe. Thank you to Morgan the owner and staff for taking car of us and making us feel so welcome! This was definitely the best location for us to stay when we visited Efate. We'll definitely stay here again!

The lagoon view was gorgeous! I arrived at midnight, do I didn't know what I would see when I woke up. The staff was just awesome ❤️ Even with the time of crisis (series of earth quakes), they went over and beyond all expectations. They became my friends, my overseas family. Thank you for the wonderful stay! Everyone at Lagoon Gardens was so very helpful. The place is like an intimate bed and breakfast. Every morning there is a delicious breakfast provided on the pier with views of the lagoon . Myriam and Morgan were so helpful in helping me figure out transportation with local transport. Thank you for the wonderful stay and i highly recommendt this place as i will be sraying here if i visit Vanuatu again.

Un séjour agréable

Séjour de 6 nuits qui s’est extrêmement bien passé ! Le personnel est accueillant, amical et respectueux. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux et très copieux pour démarrer la journée (pancakes, toast, œuf,…). Le cadre est somptueux et très calme. Nous avons pu sur demande, réalisé une machine de vêtements. La gérante nous a aussi négocié de très bons prix de taxi et peut vous conseiller sur certaines activités. L’hôtel n’est pas en plein cœur de port Villa mais les nombreux bus permettent de s’y rendre en une dizaine de minutes. Je recommande ce lieux
