Parking is decent at either front or back of the motel. Backside rooms have grim view of alley and dumpsters. Road noise on Front St. is loud. Room is decent for a 2-star. Exterior areas could use a refresh, and deep cleaning, including the walkway surface coverings and stairways.

The place was located not very far from downtown, with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Parking was easy. Since there was no breakfast, we wish they had provided some tea or coffee at the lobby. They did have a hot water dispenser, but when we tried to use it, no water came out. The staff was not very helpful and simply asked us to keep trying, but it still didn’t work after several attempts. The room was okay and convenient enough for a short stay in Port Angeles.

The Aircrest was very clean and newly updated. Out receptionist was welcoming, funny, and helpful. We did not travel with pets or kids. Parking is a little tight (not good if you’re towing) but ample for a large SUV. We stayed on a Thursday and there was some noise from a daycare next door. It wasn’t unpleasant and quieted down by the time we were stepping out for dinner around 5. I didn’t notice any sound in the morning, but we left early to catch the ferry around 7.
